Your First Visit

You want someone to listen to your individual wishes and expectations, explaining things clearly so you can choose which treatment is right for you.

You want clinical and technical excellence from a caring, committed team, passionate about what they do.

You want to feel confident in your smile and your dentist.

When you arrive for your first visit, you will be greeted by one of our reception team. They will be happy to answer any questions you might have about our services or products and help to put you at your ease. You will be advised which forms are to be completed prior to you being seen by one of our dentists and assistance will be there if you need it. Some of these forms are available for download below – we advise patients to bring these with them on the day.

If you wish, at this stage the reception team will be able to sign you up to our maintenance plan used by the majority of our independent patients. This is not compulsory but does allow you to avail of the plans discounted prices.

When you are ready you will be escorted to one of our treatment rooms for your consultation with your dental team. We will listen to your needs and desires and combined with a thorough clinical examination, agree a treatment plan that suits you. When the treatment is agreed you will be given a full written quotation and the next appointment will be organised for a time that suits you.

Routine Treatment

Your dental and ORAL health are crucial to your overall well-being and should always be a priority to you.

Regular dental checkups and oral screening ensures that this aspect of your health is taken care of. Our patients benefit from having less treatment as problems are spotted early, requiring less complex procedures.

At Monkstown Dental, our young patients are of utmost importance to us.

Treating young children is made much easier for them if they have built a relationship and trusts the dental team; we work hard on that from day one. That’s why our practice is built on generations of families.

Prevention is always better than cure and we encourage our younger patients to have good knowledge as well as treatment to limit the amount of dentistry they need long term.
